Why I love Sitting Sessions

Sitting sessions are hugely popular, you only have to look at the images on this page to see why. I personally love to see my newborns back in the studio. There’s so much change in that first six months and it’s wonderful to see them grow. It’s amazing to see how their personalities have developed, along with their gummy smiles and their chubby arms and legs. Let’s face it this age is just adorable!

In terms of my job, it’s made so much easier by the fact that babies of this age are more tolerant of strangers. Another bonus is that they are stationary, so we can capture all those cheeky smiles, without them being able to crawl off. Outfits can be viewed without the distraction of props and poses. Sessions are at most an hour, so you don’t have to clear a whole day out of your diary!

My previous clients receive a complimentary session, but even if you weren’t a newborn client you can still book. These really are images that you’ll treasure, because if you blink you’ll miss this stage!
