A friend told me about Sally, she had heard of her good reputation and had pictures done herself at an nct event. We loved feeling very welcome in the studio and the very relaxed atmosphere that Sally created, she was very patient with our little boy as he wasn’t playing ball! Baden's Cake Smash

Sally slack is one of the most caring and considerate people/ photographer's I've ever met. I've had 3 sessions in total with her with my beautiful son, newborn, 1st cake smash and his 2nd birthday where he had a chocolate piñata. He absolutely loves having his photo taken but Sally makes him so happy, she's not 'scary' at all. She worked around my child even when he was uncomfortable with the flash, she soon made him concentrate on something else, she has loads of different equipment to make the children busy and happy. For example cars, chairs and musical instruments. She was always very flexible with the time of day because we wanted to work around my son having a nap and she was so easy to get hold of. For my sons newborn shoot, he got to wear loads of different hats and lay in all different positions with cute backgrounds which made the photos very cute and professional. They were amazing!! I didn't know what to expect for my sons 1st birthday cake smash! But again Sally was very welcoming and he had so much fun again the same for his 2nd birthday! The quality of the photos were brilliant and good value for money! Sally is so easy to work with and the variety of photo shoots she does is amazing. I would definitely recommend Sally Slack to any parents that want beautiful warm professional memories of their child!

I chose sally as I saw some of her work through a friend. Instantly wanted my child to have photos with her. Her work was amazing and was just what I was wanting. Sally was very professional but so chilled and relaxed with it. She understand childrens needs and realises that they do have stroppy moments and will always take breaks or let them sleep when they need during the shoot. There is no pressure to hurry up and sit still and her attitude is great. The quality of the photos is gorgeous and worth every penny! Lots of special and amazing moments sally captured and I will always use her again x Sally cane out of her way to meet me and give me my frames. Edward's Mummy

I spent a lot of time on the Internet searching for the type of photographer we wanted. I googled natural, organic baby photographers and i also asked on an Essex Mum’s Facebook group.

It was really important that the Photos of Edward had minimal 'fuss' and extras. My friends have gorgeous photos of their babies in baskets etc but we wanted something classic and timeless. I felt that Sally captured the beauty of a baby perfectly.

I liked the fact that Sally didn't do back to back bookings. I didn't find one photo online which I didn't like, so for me - she was perfect!!

Sally has no time limit to her sessions and was very patient even though Edward didn't want to go back to sleep. Sally didn't let a first time mum worry, she was very warm and welcoming.

During the session she literally just got on with it. Sally knew what pose she wanted and she worked with what Edward was doing which gave us amazing photos that we will forever love.

Sally’s 'props' were brilliant- she had tons to choose from and they were all so tasteful.

I have turned one of our photos in to a phone cover, everyone comments on how gorgeous they are. we are so lucky to have them.

As a first time mum I was a bit anxious taking my 8 day old baby for a photoshoot, it was so relaxing from start to finish. She was so gentle and calm when handling our baby, we could see as the shoot was going on that the images would be beautiful. We were thrilled with the end results and we got the images and the thank you cards very quickly.

Isla's Newborn Shoot

We recently visited Sally with our 13 day old daughter. Being a naturally anxious person I was excited yet cautious of taking my newborn to a studio with a stranger for a day of photographing. Having scoured the internet for photographers, seeing Sally's portfolio on her website, my mind was instantly made up with the quality of her photos. Now all I had to do was deal with my anxiety on the day! However, my worries were diminished the minute we stepped foot into Sally's at home studio. Such a calming, professional, warm, friendly women. Her experience as a well travelled nanny, mother of three boys and true talent in dealing with babies made the day such an amazing experience. Her photography skills are second to none and the end results were absolutely breathtaking! We loved every minute of our day with Sally and cannot wait to see her again in a year for Isla's cake smash!!!!
