CUSTOM CAKES

So you’ve decided you’d like to celebrate your little one’s first birthday with a cake smash. My cake smash shoots aren’t just about the cake, you get images of your little one before they’re covered in a cake and you also get images of them splashing in the bath tub in the studio.

The cakes above are custom cakes, these are designed and made by my very talented cake maker. When you book your cake smash with a custom cake I get in touch with you to liaise over colours and the theme, so that everything looks perfect! I will then arrange to pick up the cake and make sure it is here at the studio when you arrive.

If your child has any allergies my cake maker is normally able to accomodate you with a range of options. The cakes are all vanilla sponge with butter icing and rolled fondant icing. I don’t tend to use piped butter icing as over the years this has not proved a popular option with little one’s as it can be slightly slimy to touch.

Parent’s who are worried about their little one having sugar please do not worry, very little cake is actually eaten.
