ABOUT REMEMBER MY BABY

Remember My Baby or RMB as it's known is a UK based registered charity which offers the gift of Baby Remembrance Photography to all UK parents experiencing the loss of their baby before, during or shortly after birth. Each family receives a ‘free gift’ of high resolution digital images with a copyright licence to print for their own personal, non commercial use. I am proud to say that I have been a Remember My Baby Photographer since 2016.

I'm often asked why I do this. Thankfully I've never had to experience the devastation of losing a child. But I do have friends that have, and I saw how much the images they had meant to them.

"When asked what the most important photo opportunity is ever, most people might say a wedding. Or maybe a christening, or a newborn shoot – small window of opportunity there as babies grow so fast.

But actually, the answer is Remembrance Photography – a baby whose life is lost in a heartbeat, whose parents are devastated, for whom there won’t be a newborn or christening photo, or a first steps, or first birthday, or first day at school photo. 

Remember My Baby is a registered charity, we send volunteer photographers into hospitals and hospices at short notice to capture images that will have to last a family a lifetime, because there won’t be any more.

Our volunteers meet parents losing their baby before, during or shortly after birth. Images are sent to the parents 4-6 weeks later on an RMB branded USB, having been converted to b/w and edited with a gentle touch.

RMB’s images make a significant difference to a family’s grief, and it’s incredibly rewarding.

We provide resources, training, and support; you provide something for someone who can probably never repay you."
