I've always wanted to work with children, which is why I studied for an NNEB, and I've always loved photography. Looking back, I am surprised that it took me so long to come to the conclusion that I could do both at the same time. In fact, I think my friends knew before I did that I would end up making a career out of my photography skills!

I started my photography business in 2006, while I was living in America. It was there that I had the privilege of working with award-winning portrait photographer Pamela Einarsen, whose work is world-renowned. It was an amazing experience, that so few photographers get these days, and I'll forever be in Pam's debt for setting me off on the right track.

In 2007 I moved to Singapore, and the dream continued to grow. I threw myself into training and honing my craft – I was determined to elevate my skills to the highest level, so I could offer the very best service to my clientele. My hard work started to pay off. In 2009 I was awarded a Licentiateship (LPSS) with The Photographic Society Of Singapore, and six months later an Associateship (APSS) for a submission of black and white portraits.

In 2010 I moved back to the UK, and I had to effectively start my business all over again, building a new clientele and reputation. To be honest the enormity of the task was overwhelming at times, but I do love a challenge! The last 11 years have been a whirlwind, and I feel privileged to have photographed hundreds of adorable babies - including twins and triplets, and newborns from as tiny and delicate as 4lbs, up to a more robust 11lbs – children, and families. I’ve also maintained my focus on skills, training with some of the best photographers in the US, to make sure I stay at the top of my game.

In 2015 I was voted by my peers to be a Regional Ambassador for the Baby And Newborn Photography Association (BANPAS), representing my regional area in a focus group, allowing BANPAS to test new products and procedures as well as giving feedback to help develop the organisation.
